1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for the Prime Minister's Electricity Subsidy Scheme, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not register.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this subsidy scheme, you must meet ALL of the following conditions:

• ✅ Must be a Pakistani citizen with valid CNIC
• ✅ Must have a domestic (residential) electricity connection
• ✅ Average monthly consumption must be ≤ 200 units
• ✅ Must belong to low-income household
• ✅ No outstanding dues exceeding 3 months
• ✅ Not currently receiving any other electricity subsidy

3. Registration Process

• Registration is completely FREE — no fees required
• Only one registration per CNIC / electricity connection
• Duplicate registrations will be rejected
• You must provide accurate and truthful information
• Mobile number must be active for SMS verification

4. Subsidy Benefits

• 1-50 units: 100% free electricity
• 51-100 units: 50% discount on bill
• 101-150 units: 35% discount on bill
• 151-200 units: 25% discount on bill
• Above 200 units: No subsidy

5. Verification & Approval

• All applications undergo verification by NADRA and respective DISCO
• Verification may take 7-14 working days
• You will receive SMS confirmation upon approval/rejection
• Subsidy will reflect in your next electricity bill after approval
• Approval decision is final and cannot be appealed

6. Termination & Disqualification

Your subsidy may be terminated immediately if:

• ❌ Your monthly consumption exceeds 200 units for 2 consecutive months
• ❌ You provide false or misleading information
• ❌ You transfer your meter to another person/business
• ❌ You fail to pay outstanding electricity dues

7. Scheme Duration

This subsidy scheme is valid for a limited time only. The registration portal will close after 26 days. The government reserves the right to extend, modify, or terminate the scheme at any time without prior notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Prime Minister's Office and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in this scheme. Technical issues, SMS delivery delays, or verification delays are beyond our control.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Islamabad.
